More Iditarod Pictures!

This picture shows you how Anchorage deals with the street problem for the race. Basically, we take the snow we've been shoveling off our streets all winter, and dump it in intercections to build a "snow bridge" for the sleds. Many intersections still allow cars through them during the race -- in this case, policemen direct traffic, and volunteers shovel snow to cover up the tire tracks.
