Training season is ON!
Anne is training for a marathon! Us Alaskans are sending her positive vibes and subtle suggestions..."Come to Alaska, Anne...running is sooo much easier here because the coefficient for gravity is less here...miles are much shorter here...".
My personal favorite training plan is Four Months to a Four Hour Marathon, although Hal Higdon's plan is good as well.
I, for one, do not plan on running seriously for a month. This is because my body needs to forget what a marathon entails before I can train for it (the body can't see what's coming or it's all over).
I am going to cross country ski instead for a while, and some weight training.
