For those of you who wonder what I look like at 3am conference calls, here is a clue. It's 5am, and I have been up since 2am. It's cold, and I'm going to have to descend a mountain in two hours without a spectacular crash or anything. Needless to say, I look "pensive". However, we did get down the mountain successfully, although two people at least in our group crashed. Please don't try to do the bike down Haleakala if 1) you haven't ridden a bike in a while 2) you don't feel comfortable biking in traffic!
