Big Flower Stories

A HUGE titan arum is about to bloom at the University of Wisconsin Greenhouse. This is a huge flower, more than 95 inches tall, and there have only been 17 blooms of these animals in the US in history (this one blooms every 4 years).

It's not the type of flower you want to put in your garden, or add to your perfume collection. The fragrance is described as a "rotting-fish-with-burnt-sugar" scent.
